JCEL Call for Associate Editors
We are seeking experienced and dedicated associate editors to join the team at the Journal of Copyright in Education and Librarianship (JCEL) to help guide articles through our review process. As JCEL continues to grow as a platform for copyright research and scholarship, we are looking for new editors who can work with authors and reviewers to ensure high-quality publications and foster a constructive review experience.
JCEL publishes articles that address a wide range of copyright topics, with a focus on education and librarianship. Editors play a critical role in maintaining our journal's standards and providing a smooth and supportive experience for authors and reviewers.
In this role, editors will:
- Oversee the review process for submitted articles, from initial assessment to final decisions,
- Work closely with peer reviewers to ensure thorough and fair evaluations,
- Collaborate with authors to improve submissions, providing constructive feedback and guidance,
- Help maintain the quality and integrity of JCEL’s published research.
Ideal candidates should have experience in copyright, education, or librarianship, along with a commitment to academic rigor and the advancement of knowledge in the field. Prior editorial experience is an asset but not required, as we welcome individuals eager to develop their editorial skills within a supportive community.
If you are interested in joining our editorial team, please fill out this short form.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to JCEL and support impactful scholarship in copyright education and librarianship.
