Author Guidelines

The journal does not charge any fees to publish articles.

Since KWPL is a working paper, publication in KWPL does not preclude later publication elsewhere of revised versions of papers.

Upon publication, authors may share the published version their work on web sites, in an institutional repository, or in any other repository as long as the published source is acknowledged.  Please see KWPL's policy in SHERPA/RoMEO for more information. 

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are provided for the published version of any works cited, if available.
  • The author has removed all personally identifiable information in the manuscript. See Remove hidden data and personal information by inspecting documents, presentations, or workbooks (Link to Microsoft Support page)
  • The manuscript follows the KWPL stylesheet.
  • Upon acceptance of the article, the authors agree to the terms outlined in the Publication Agreement.
