Manuscript Processing Delays

Dear Contributors of Reptiles & Amphibians,

We want to start this message by thanking everyone for the submissions of their valuable work and research. We are aware of the longer manuscript processing time this year, and we apologize for the significant delays in getting your submissions through the publishing pipeline.

We have reached a huge influx of manuscripts at the end of 2024 and all through 2025, with nearly double the number of monthly submissions we usually get. These submissions are out to section editors and we are in the process of obtaining reviewers. We appreciate your patience, and the multitude of individuals who have met these delays with understanding, Thank you again for your support of us, and the journal, and we apologize for the delays. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for inquiries on your submission.
