Abstract

We report the presence of microplastics in digestive tracts or feces of two invasive House Geckos
(Hemidactylus mabouia and H. angulatus) in Cuba, review the subject of microplastic contamination, and discuss a
possible transfer pathway for plastics and associated toxins.
