Editor's words for the Year of 2025

Serican Journal of Medicine (SJM) was founded by the Serican Academy of Urology (SAU) on November 2,2024, and the first issue was officially published on December 6 of the same year. The journal is committed to promoting the progress of global medical science and becoming an important platform for delivering cutting-edge information and promoting international academic cooperation. This journal covers all aspects of the medical field, including basic research, translational medicine and clinical research, and also publishes clinical trials, surgical techniques, device innovations, multidisciplinary treatments, public health issues, authoritative reviews, case reports, editorial comments and clinical guidelines. As a new bud breaking through the ground, Serican Journal of Medicine has been enthusiastically supported by colleagues in urology, oncology and other medical fields since its inception. Here, special thanks to the members of the editorial board for their professional efforts, thank the authors for sharing important research results, and thank the reviewers for their fair and rigorous attitude, which provides a solid guarantee for the high-quality development of the journal. The year 2024, full of enthusiasm and progress, has become history, and the year 2025, full of vitality, is coming to us. In the new year, we hope that the SJM will continue to uphold the spirit of "picking the best and exploring the secluded", absorb academic wisdom, and gather the power of hundreds of rivers to inject new vitality into the development of medical science. Although the magazine is named "Serican", we always face the global academic community and welcome the active participation of all authors to jointly promote the innovation and progress of medical science. We will continue to work hard to enhance our academic influence, strive to enter SCI as soon as possible, become a core platform for publishing important medical results, and contribute more to the global medical cause. ​
