All submissions must be authored by undergraduate students at The University of Kansas. A submission can be a class paper (with some additions so that people unfamiliar with the topic can follow the argument), an independent research project, part of a capstone/senior thesis project, or an art exhibition review. It must be within 2000 and 9000 words. Every submission must include an abstract of 100 to 150 words. For ease of reading, the submission must be in Times New Roman, 12 pt., and double-spaced. The font, font size, and spacing will be changed if the article is published. It needs to have a title, and page numbers. Lastly, the submission must have footnotes, endnotes, or in-text citations, and a bibliography. The citations and the bibliography must be in the same style. Zenith! only uses MLA and Chicago/Turabian citation styles.

Authors should attach their submissions as a Word document labeled "Title" and remove all occurences of their name from the document as their registration with OJS will allow the Editors to know their identity while barring it from the reviewers for a blind review process. The content of the submission comment box should include author's full name, hometown, major(s), minor(s), year in school, mentor/professor for paper, topic of paper, and if the paper is a class paper, independent research project, or a part of a senior thesis. Please also include either your 7-digit numeric KU student ID#, or your alphanumeric KU email address (a123b456@ku.edu) to confirm your identity as a KU undergraduate. If you have since graduated from KU, please include your graduation date.
