JRAS 6.1 (May 2022) Published!
The editors of the Journal of Russian American Studies (JRAS) are pleased to announce the publication of this new issue of the journal, Volume 6, Number 1 (May 2022). In this issue, you will find three great articles. The first article by Marilyn Schwinn Smith is a continuation of the story of John Cournos in Russia from the first installment in JRAS 5.1 (May 2021). Read them both to get the whole story! The second article is an interesting source study of a letter by an American woman in the Soviet Union in 1930 by Alison Rowley. The third article examines the question of lives of African-American immigrants to the Soviet Union by Meredith Roman. This issue also has five timely book reviews and a Field Notes section with some timely activities.
