The editors of the Journal of Russian American Studies (JRAS) are pleased to announce the publication of the newest issue! In this issue readers will find two excellent articles, six book reviews, and several field notes on the latest activities in the field. The first article by Maksim Pelmegov examines the visions of the Chicago World’s Fair (1893) and the United States in general through the eyes of Russian traveler and writer Vasily Sidorov. The second article by Paul Rubinson analyzes the words and images of Andrei Sakharov in a distinctly American context.
The journal has just completed its eighth year. The editors are always interested in manuscripts for possible publication. Please send your submissions to the email below.
