2025-11-04

The editors of the Journal of Russian American Studies (JRAS) are proud to announce the publication of a new issue.  In this issue, Alison Rowley analyzes the 1916-1917 speaking tour of Zinovy Peshkov in the United States where he explored many topics in an effort to increase American support for the Allied war effort.  Aleksandr Okun investigates the role of American popular music in the early Cold War period revealing how this genre of music shaped and reflected Cold War sentiments at this critical time in Soviet-American relations.  This issue also has five book reviews of some of the most current books in this field as well as a field notes section.
