David Krasner is associate professor and head of the acting program at Emerson College. He is the author and editor of eight books, twice awarded the Errol Hill Award from the American Society of Theatre Research and winner of the 2008 Betty Jean Jones Award from the American Theatre and Drama Society. He is co-editor of the University of Michigan Press’s series on theatre. He is currently working on his third book on African American theatre history.
