L’intertextualité dans Les Tribulations du dernier Sijilmassi, stratégie d’écriture et symbole de crise d’identité culturelle
Abstract
Fouad Laroui's novel Les Tribulations du dernier Sijilmassi is built on a network of winks to the great classics of French and Arabic literature. This article intends to study the aspects of intertextuality in Fouad Laroui’s novel, whether they are quotations or allusions to other literary texts according to Gérard Genette's model. Thus, we propose to examine, first of all, the manifestations of the intertextual games used by the author as a writing strategy in this novel, in order to demonstrate, then, how the intertextuality game aims also to highlight an identity crisis of the main character.
