The Druze Studies Journal recognizes the value of post-publication commentary as an essential part of advancing academic discourse. Formal commentary on published articles or reviews may involve challenges or clarifications regarding the original work. These submissions may be considered for publication as a Letter to the Editor, typically accompanied by a response from the original author(s).

Letters to the Editor and their replies will be linked with the original article in the journal. In rare cases, the Druze Studies Journal will consider Letters to the Editor concerning articles published in other journals.

Authors are encouraged to submit a pre-submission inquiry before formally submitting a Letter to the Editor. This is not a requirement but will help expedite the process. Once approved for submission, the letter should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system by choosing the section "Letters to the Editor."

Letters to the Editor should not exceed 800 words, excluding references. They must be written in a neutral tone, with all comments directly related to the original article. All submissions are subject to peer review, and final acceptance or rejection is at the discretion of the Editor. Letters to the Editor will be reviewed by at least one of the DSJ editorial board members.
