تتناول هذه المراجعة كتاب مكرم رباح الصراع في جبل لبنان: الدروز والموارنة والذاكرة الجماعية، وتقيم إسهامه في دراسة تاريخ لبنان والهوية الجماعية والمصالحة بعد الحرب. بالاعتماد على التاريخ الشفهي ونظريات الذاكرة الجماعية، يبين رباح أن ذكريات الصراعات الماضية لا تُحفظ فحسب، بل يُعاد تشكيلها وتوظيفها باستمرار من قبل الفاعلين السياسيين بما يؤثر في بناء الهويات والسلوك السياسي المعاصر. تسلط المراجعة الضوء على إسهام الكتاب في فهم العلاقة بين الذاكرة والحوكمة في لبنان ما بعد الحرب الأهلية، ولا سيما استمرار السرديات الطائفية في ظل غياب مشروع مصالحة وطنية شامل. كما تناقش أهميته لحقل الدراسات الدرزية، مع الإشارة إلى بعض الجوانب التي كان يمكن أن تستفيد من مزيد من التعمق التاريخي والتحليل المقارن. وتخلص إلى أن الكتاب يقدم إطارًا مهمًا لفهم دور الذاكرة الجماعية في تشكيل مسارات الصراع والمصالحة في لبنان.
