Abstract

This article is the last in a three-part series investigating the kinds of uses of copyrighted textual works that educational institutions may make without permission or fee payment in five common-law countries. The principal concern is educational or classroom copying (unpaid educational uses providing students with access to learning materials such as course readings) and the extent to which such uses may be permissible under the provisions of statutory users’ rights (copyright exceptions and limitations).
